High school military clubs in MN?

Does anyone know of any military clubs for high school students in Minnesota? I have been thinking about joining one but it's quite hard to find information. Any advice?

Absolutely, Minnesota has several opportunities for high school students interested in military-related clubs or programs. Here are a few options:

1. Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC): This is a popular program in many high schools that offers courses in leadership, military customs, and physical training. Numerous schools in Minnesota have a JROTC program, so reach out to your school administrator to check if there's one in your school.

2. Civil Air Patrol (CAP): This is the civilian auxiliary to the U.S. Air Force and they have a cadet program for young people aged 12 to 20. It focuses on leadership training, aerospace education, and physical fitness. There are a number of squadrons located across Minnesota.

3. Sea Cadets: This organization provides opportunities for students who are interested in naval or maritime careers. It's a place for young people to learn about naval life, discipline, and leadership.

4. Young Marines: This is a service and education program for boys and girls, age 8 through completion of high school. It promotes mental, moral, and physical development. There're a couple units in Minnesota too.

Remember, all these clubs or programs provide an opportunity to learn about the military, develop leadership skills, and serve the community. However, participation doesn't mean you're required to join the military after high school. Be sure to research each program in your area and choose the one that best fits your interests and goals. Best of luck!
