FGCU out of state tuition?

Hey folks, I'm currently residing outside of Florida and FGCU piqued my interest. Unfortunately, I'm not clear about their out-of-state tuition. Can anyone help me out with this? Cheers!

Sure, I'd be happy to help! As an out-of-state student at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), the tuition tends to be higher than it would be for in-state students. As of the 2024-2025 academic year, the estimated cost of tuition and fees for out-of-state students at FGCU is around $25,162 per academic year. This cost is before any financial aid or scholarships are deducted.

It's good to note that the amount may vary slightly based on specific factors, such as the course load you're taking or any additional fees your specific program might have. Also, keep in mind this amount does not include room and board, books, or any personal expenses you may incur.

This might be a bit pricey, especially when compared to the in-state tuition. However, FGCU does have scholarship opportunities specifically for out-of-state students that can significantly help to offset the cost. Be sure to investigate these opportunities and apply as early as possible!

As with any college decision, it's important to understand all the costs associated with attending - not just tuition, but also living expenses, travel, etc., and to balance that with the opportunities and experiences the institution can offer you.
