I'm really stressing out here! Does anyone know exactly how many questions are included in the AP Calculus AB exam? Need to figure out how long to spend on each!

Hey there, I can understand why you're feeling stressed about the AP Calculus AB exam. It's important to manage the time you have during the test effectively. The AP Calculus AB exam consists of two sections: Multiple Choice and Free Response.

For the Multiple Choice section, you have 60 questions to complete in 1 hour and 45 minutes. This section is divided into two parts: one with 30 questions where the use of a calculator is not permitted (60 minutes) and another with 30 questions where the use of a calculator is allowed (45 minutes).

As for the Free Response section, there are 6 questions which you have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. Calculators are allowed for the entire Free Response section.

To maximize your test-taking efficiency, practice allocating about a minute per multiple choice question and around 15 minutes per free response question. You've got this, just keep practicing and time management will soon become second nature!
