Looking Up Babson

Girl here from the West Coast trying to map out my college tours for the summer. Never been out east before, but I've been interested in Babson. Does anyone on here have info about where Babson is located? Any input about the area is also appreciated!

Babson College is located in the beautiful town of Wellesley, Massachusetts. This cozy suburban town is about 14 miles to the west of Boston, so you've got a major metropolitan city nearly on your doorstep—around a 40-minute drive or about an hour by public transportation.

Wellesley itself is a picturesque and safe town, with a multitude of quaint shops and eateries for students to explore. It's also home to Wellesley College and is close to other colleges like Brandeis University and Bentley University, providing a small but lively college-town atmosphere. Babson's campus is relatively small but full of green spaces and modern facilities, offering a very communal environment.

In relation to Boston, this proximity means students get the best of both worlds: a quiet, relaxed campus environment for study and a vibrant city for internships, cultural activities, and entertainment. Note that while public transportation is available, it might not be as comprehensive or frequent as you might expect in larger cities. Some students do find having personal transportation handy for getting to Boston or exploring other parts of New England.

As well as the campus tour, make sure to check out the surrounds of Wellesley and make a trip into Boston if you can. It'll provide a more complete picture of what attending Babson might be like. Enjoy your visit!
