Alternatives to Manhattan College with strong engineering programs?

I'm kind of set on Manhattan College because of its engineering program, but I wanna keep my eyes open. Any suggestions for colleges that are on the same level, particularly in civil engineering, and have a similar campus culture?

Exploring your options is always a wise move! If you're keen on Manhattan College's vibe and its engineering emphasis, it's worth considering other institutions with a similar feel. Look at Villanova University—it has a strong engineering program with great options in civil engineering, and the campus culture has a close-knit sense of community similar to Manhattan College.

Another one is Cooper Union, situated in New York City as well, and known for its rigorous engineering curriculum. While Cooper Union is more urban and intense, it's fantastic if you're looking for a challenge and a focus on engineering. Also, don't overlook schools like Drexel University in Philadelphia, which offers a unique cooperative education program that could provide real-world experience in conjunction with your degree.

And of course, check out resources like CollegeVine to get a personalized list of colleges based on your specific criteria which can be incredibly helpful. Keep in mind that campuses can feel different to each person, so if possible, try to visit or attend virtual tours to get a true sense for the atmosphere.
