Uniforms of all US military branches?

REALLY considering going into the military after high school, but Idk which branch yet. Can y'all share some info on what each of the U.S. military branch uniforms look like? Like, is there a good resource I can look at?

Sure, if you're interested in comparing the uniforms of each military branch, there isn't really a single resource that has all of them conveniently in one place. Your best bet is to visit the official websites of each branch individually and explore their "About Us" sections. Below is a brief rundown of the standard uniforms in each branch:

1. U.S. Army - Three uniforms in general, class A greens (dress/formal wear), class B's (like business casual), and Army Combat Uniform (ACU) which is their camo.

2. U.S. Air Force - The formal uniform known as "Service Dress" is a blue suit accompanied by a light blue shirt. Their battle uniform is the Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) which has a pixelated camouflage pattern.

3. U.S. Navy - Dress Whites or Dress Blues (depending on the season) as their formal uniform, and there's the Navy Working Uniform (NWU) which comes in variations of blue and black digital camouflage.

4. U.S. Marine Corps - Formally, they have Dress Blues. Additionally, they have Service Alphas and Bravos (green and khaki uniforms) for more modest formal occasions. The camouflage uniform is known as "MARPAT" and has digital patterns.

5. U.S. Coast Guard - Service Dress Blues as formal attire which is a dark blue suit, also have ODU, or Operational Dress Uniform, which is similar to navy blue work clothes.

It's great that you're researching this aspect of your potential future in the military, but remember to base your decision more on what each branch can offer in terms of career growth, what kind of work you’d enjoy the most, and how it might equip you for potential civilian jobs if you plan to serve only a few years. Best of luck as you navigate this exciting life decision!
