How do I score my PSAT practice test?

I just took a practice PSAT at home to see where I'm at, but I'm a little lost on how to score it correctly. Can anyone guide me through the process or direct me to a scoring tool online?

Hey there! Scoring your PSAT practice test can be a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it'll be a breeze. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you out:

First, check your practice test or the College Board website for the answer explanations. You'll mark each question you got right. For each correct answer in the Reading and Writing sections, you add one point. In the Math section, it's the same—each correct answer gets you one point. There are no penalties for wrong answers, so don't subtract anything for mistakes!

Next, you'll convert your raw score (the number of questions you got right) into the scaled score using the conversion tables provided with the practice test. This part can be a tad tricky because the scale can change slightly from year to year or test to test. You will find a different table for each section - just match your raw score to the corresponding scaled score on the table.

And that's it! Add up your scaled scores for each section, and you have your practice PSAT score. Best of luck with your preparations!
