Deciding on the Easiest Major?

I'm currently undecided, looking into the plethora of majors. I don't want to be overwhelmed so I'm leaning more towards majors that are considered 'easier'. Based on your experiences, what majors would you guys recommend?

While it's worth keeping in mind that the term "easy" can vary greatly depending on personal strengths and interests, some students might point to certain degrees as being potentially less demanding.

For instance, majors within the realm of social sciences, communications, English, or liberal arts are often viewed this way. However, do take this with a huge grain of salt because while certain majors might have less strenuous workloads, it does not automatically mean they are 'easy'.

It is far more beneficial to think in terms of what truly interests you and aligns with your career goals. Not only will you be more likely to excel in a subject you enjoy, but you'll also be more inclined to engage in related extracurricular activities and internships. This can, in turn, make your overall college application stronger.

The core idea is that no two people will find the same major to be equally challenging or 'easy'. For example, a student who is passionate about history might find a major in this field far 'easier' than one in a STEM field, like physics, for which they have little interest or aptitude.

Each student has a different academic background, skill set, and interests, which will influence how 'easy' or 'difficult' they perceive a major to be. It's significant to consider your strengths, interests, and long-term career aspirations when choosing what to study in college.
