Simple Classes at Chabot College

What's poppin'? I'm about to start my first semester at Chabot College and I'm looking to balance my course load. Does anybody know any classes that are not super intense? Would appreciate any advice!

Hi there! Congratulations on starting your journey at Chabot College. You're making a smart move by planning your course load strategically.

When it comes to identifying classes that aren't overly intense, it could help to check out the course descriptions and syllabi, if available, to get a sense of the workload. It might also be helpful to talk to your academic advisor - they're usually quite knowledgeable about the different courses and could help you craft a balanced schedule.

However, keep in mind that "easier" classes can often come down to personal strengths and interests. For example, if you enjoy history or social sciences, you might find classes in these areas to be less demanding than say, a science or math class. But this won't necessarily be the case for everyone.

There are also a variety of elective and general education classes that students often say aren't too demanding. These could be a good option if you are looking for something to balance out heavier courses. For example, classes like "Introduction to Film Studies" or "Fundamentals of Music" could be engaging and comparatively less intense.

Hope this helps and best of luck with your first semester! Remember to still challenge yourself within your limits as it's also important to grow and learn during your time in college.
