Howard Community College's easiest classes?

So, I'm due to start at Howard Community College soon and, not gonna lie, pretty nervous. To help soften the initial shock, I'm thinking of signing up for some of the more straightforward classes first. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

When starting at a community college like Howard, it's completely normal to want to start off gently. Your question is a bit difficult to answer directly because what is easy for one student might be challenging for another, depending on personal strengths, interests, and previous academic background. Having said that, there are often classes that students find to be a bit lighter in terms of workload or complexity.

1. Communications courses can been seen as easier as they often involve improving public speaking and interacting with classmates, which can be less rigorous compared to subjects that involve lots of memorization or complex problem-solving.

2. Introductory art classes, such as drawing or painting, can be less academically intensive, especially for those with a creative inclination. Still, these can take a significant amount of time outside of class.

3. A physical education course can be a nice balance to academic courses. They require effort, but it's a different type of work than traditional academic classes.

4. Many students find introductory sociology courses to be quite manageable. These often involve understanding and discussing societal issues, which can be quite engaging.

Remember, these are general suggestions and might not necessarily apply to your personal academic strengths or interests. It's also important to have a balance between the "easier" courses and your major specific courses to ensure you're staying on track with your academic goals. Always take the time to check the syllabus and speak with the instructor or students who have taken the course before, if possible. Enjoy your time at Howard Community College!
