What are the easiest college majors that lead to high-paying jobs?

Hey guys! So, I've been giving some thought to what I'm going to major in when I head off to college, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm looking for something that doesn't require enormous study hours, but I also wanna make a comfortable living after graduation. Can anyone shed some light on which college majors are relatively easy and can land me a good job?

While it's important to remember that the definition of "easy" can vary wildly from person to person based on their strengths and interests, I can certainly provide some insight on majors which are often reported to have a lighter workload and tend to lead to well-paying careers.

1. Economics: Despite tackling complex society-level concepts, economics often requires less intensive study than other quantitative fields, like engineering or physics. However, it opens up opportunities for jobs in finance, consulting, and government, which can come with high salaries.

2. Communications: While not being very math-intensive, this degree can lead to careers in public relations, advertising, and digital media, which have the potential for high earnings with experience and talent.

3. Business: Business Administration or Management degrees are versatile and applicable to many industries. They also offer potential future earnings in management or executive positions.

4. English: While it doesn't immediately evoke high-paying jobs, English majors have a diverse skill set that's highly desirable. Jobs in copywriting, public relations, and other corporate roles can offer substantial salaries.

5. Computer Science: While it can be demanding for some, many find the practical nature of the problems tackled in Computer Science to be less abstract and therefore easier than other STEM fields. The tech industry is also known for its high salaries.

6. Information Technology (IT): Similar to CS, but often less math-heavy and more focused on applying existing technology rather than creating new technology. IT careers are plentiful and well-paying.

Bear in mind that a major is not always definitive; many people work in fields unrelated to their study areas. Additionally, this list focuses more on Corporate jobs which are higher-paying, but it's always worth considering your interests and passions outside of these traditional paths as well.
