What's considered the easiest major in college?

Hey, I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the potential degrees and was just wondering if there's a consensus on which college major is typically considered the 'easiest'? Of course, I know it might differ depending on personal interests and skills. Just want some insight into this and hope it could help orient me towards something matching my pace. Thanks!

Determining the 'easiest' major can be quite subjective as it varies widely based on an individual's strengths, interests, and career objectives. That being said, some majors are typically held to have less rigorous coursework or requirements. These may include Business, Communications, Education, and some Social Sciences such as Sociology or Psychology.

For example, Business majors often report enjoying the applicability of their studies to real world situations and therefore might find the coursework approachable. Communication Studies could be considered less challenging due to the broader and often more subjective nature of the material. Education, although it requires fieldwork, might feel easier because the academic material often includes pedagogical theory and teaching methods, which some students find intriguing and less intensive.

Psychology and Sociology are typically more reading-heavy, but the concepts can be easier to grasp for students who have an intuitive understanding of social dynamics.

Keep in mind, however, that each of these majors still requires a significant amount of work and commitment. The "easiest" major will largely depend on your own interests, strengths, and future career goals. Most importantly, you'll want to choose a major that you find engaging and rewarding.
