What might be the easiest life science class in college?

So, life sciences are definitely not my jam, but they're a requirement for my GE's. Does anyone have any advice as to which life science classes typically tend to be the easier ones in college?

While the perceived difficulty of a course can vary depending on your personal strengths, interests, and the particular professor teaching it, there are some general trends in life science classes. An introductory biology or environmental science course (such as Biology 101 or Environmental Science 101) are often popular choices for students looking for more manageable courses in the life sciences.

Introductory biology usually provides an overview of the basics, like cellular biology, genetics, and evolution, giving you a broad understanding without delving too deeply into complex topics. Environmental science often incorporates a broad range of topics as well, covering everything from ecosystems to human impacts on the environment, which some students find more relatable and therefore easier to grasp.

Remember, no matter what course you choose, utilize all the resources available to you - office hours, study groups, tutoring centers – to help you succeed. This can make even notoriously challenging classes more manageable.

Lastly, course evaluations or student reviews often provide insights into course difficulty level and professor teaching style, so it might be worth checking these out if your school offers them. It's best to approach the course with an open mind and curiosity as a positive attitude can go a long way in managing your coursework.
