Hey people, so I'm feeling good about my PSAT results, and I was wondering how I go about sending my PSAT scores to colleges? Is that even a thing or do schools not really look at PSAT scores? Any clarity on this would be amazing, thanks!
Hey there! Great job on your PSAT — it's always nice to hear when students are proud of their accomplishments. Now, in terms of sending your PSAT scores to colleges, that's not typically something you need to worry about. Colleges do not generally consider PSAT scores in the admissions process. The PSAT is primarily a practice test for the SAT and serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
If you got a high score and got National Merit designation, you could include that in the Honors section of the Common App, however.
