Looking for an easy college class

Hey guys, bit of a random question, but does anyone have any recommendations for easy college classes? I'm not trying to cruise through college or anything, but I wouldn't mind having a class or two that isn't super stressful each semester. Any advice is appreciated!

It sounds like you're seeking some classes that can bring you some relief amidst a rigorous course load. One strategy is looking for courses that align with your interests. If you enjoy a subject or topic, the coursework may feel less grueling.

Firstly, having a lighter workload doesn't necessarily mean the class is easy, it can also just be well-structured. One area students often find manageable and enjoyable are courses in the visual and performing arts, like Intro to Drawing, Art History, or Music Appreciation. These classes are often about immersion and expression, instead of rote learning or intense theoretical analysis.

Another set of classes students often find less stressful are physical education courses like Fitness Walking, Dance, Yoga, or Swimming. Not only are you getting a break from hardcore academics, but you also get to engage in some physical activity which can be a great stress relief in itself.

Personal development and life skills classes, like Public Speaking, Intro to Nutrition, or Personal Finance are also popular lighter options. You're gaining valuable skills while also having a change of pace from typical lecture-style courses.

Remember that what's easy can be very subjective. A math class might be easy for someone who excels in numbers but not for someone who struggles with math. So plesae consider your strengths and interests while picking these classes. Also, always check out student reviews on RateMyProfessors and similar platforms, to get a sense of a course's workload and teacher's teaching style.

Lastly, make sure the class you take aligns with your degree requirements or elective credits. You wouldn't want to take on an extra class that doesn't contribute to your academic progress.

I hope this gives you some guidance on selecting less demanding classes that can balance out your course load each semester!
