Do PSAT 8/9 scores play any significant role?

So, I took the PSAT 8/9 a while back and I was just wondering, does this score actually matter for anything in the long run? I've heard a lot about the regular PSAT but not much about the 8/9 version.

The PSAT 8/9 scores themselves aren't directly used in the college admissions process, but they serve as a beneficial tool for students early in their high school journey. Essentially, these scores can give you a benchmark of your current academic abilities and pinpoint areas where you may need to improve.
