How to access PSAT scores after you've taken the exam

This might be a dumb question, but how do you get your PSAT scores after the test? I took it and honestly just forgot to ask my counselor about the process. Do they email you, or do you have to login somewhere?

Not a dumb question at all! It’s great that you’re taking the initiative to check on your scores. College Board will release your PSAT scores online. What you’ll need to do is create a College Board student account if you haven't already. You can do so by visiting the College Board website and following the instructions to sign up. Once your scores are available, you’ll be able to log in to this account to view them.

Keep an eye out for an email from College Board, as they usually send a notification when your scores are ready to view. Also, schools typically receive the scores a bit earlier, so your counselor might have access to them before you can see them online. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your counselor for help if you have any trouble accessing your account or if the scores seem delayed. They’re there to support you through this process. Usually, PSAT scores come out in December, so mark your calendar to check around that time!
