Possibility of Changing Military Branches While in Service?

Hi folks, I'm seriously considering a military career after high school but I'm a bit indecisive about which branch to join. So, I was wondering if it's possible to switch from one military branch to another after enlisting and while in service? What are the conditions and prerequisites, if any?

Switching branches while in service, referred to as an "inter-service transfer," is indeed possible, but it isn't necessarily simple or common.
