What's the tuition like at Princeton?

I've been thinking of applying to Princeton but I'm curious about the tuition. Does anyone know the current tuition cost, or where I can find this info on their website?

As of the 2024-2025 academic year, the total cost of attendance at Princeton, which includes tuition, room and board, fees, books, and personal expenses, is approximately $86,700 per year.

However, it's worth noting that Princeton has a very robust financial aid program—it provides full tuition, room, and board to students who come from families with income below $100,000. Additionally, for those with incomes up to $180,000, the financial aid packages do not include loans.

You can view more detailed information by visiting the University's website. Once there, navigate to the "Admission & Aid" section and select "Costs & Aid". It's also a good idea to use their net price calculator to get an estimate of what you might actually pay after financial aid is factored in (https://admission.princeton.edu/cost-aid/financial-aid-estimator).

Remember, the sticker price can be deceiving—many students end up paying far less than the stated tuition cost because of financial aid. So, don't let the cost deter you from applying if Princeton is a university you're genuinely interested in!
