Engineering Colleges

Easier engineering colleges to get into? I'm leaning towards an engineering major and want to know my range of options. Which ones have higher acceptance rates, but still maintain a solid reputation?

There are certainly several colleges that are recognized for their strong engineering programs and have relatively high acceptance rates. Here I've listed some examples:

1. Iowa State University (ISU) - This institution is renowned for its engineering programs, particularly in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. With around a 90% acceptance rate, it offers opportunities to participate in research from early on, enhancing the academic experience substantially.

2. West Virginia University (WVU) - It features an engineering program that encompasses a variety of disciplines such as Aerospace, Chemical, Petroleum, and Mining engineering. The acceptance rate is roughly around 82%.
