Bethlehem, PA is home to two prominent colleges: Lehigh University and Moravian University. Both have distinct academic rigor and campus cultures.

Lehigh University is a private research university recognized for its rigorous academic programs. It utilizes a flexible curriculum structure across four colleges: Business, Engineering & Applied Science, Arts & Sciences, and the College of Health. Each of these colleges offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1, which encourages an interactive and collaborative learning environment. In terms of campus culture, Lehigh has strong Greek traditions with about a third of students participating in Greek life. There's also a strong emphasis on athletics, and Lehigh's Mountain Hawks participate in the Patriot League Conference of NCAA Division I.

On the other hand, Moravian University is a smaller private liberal arts university, which prides itself on personalizing education. It offers majors across the sciences, arts, business, and more. The academic environment is intimate, with a student-faculty ratio of 10:1. This allows for more personalized attention and guidance. Campus culture at Moravian is very community-focused, with plenty of opportunities to get involved in clubs, music groups, sports teams, and service organizations. Unlike Lehigh, Greek life is less of a focus at Moravian.

Remember, while researching these schools, be sure to consider your own personal preferences and career goals. It's great to seek input, but also try and experience these colleges firsthand via campus visits, virtual tours, talking to alumni or current students, etc. This way, you'll have a clear understanding of both their academic offerings and their campus cultures.
