What are easy-going jobs to study for while in college?

I'm heading into my second year and wondering about which fields may have 'easier' jobs to pursue that require a college degree. Any suggestions?

Certainly, while defining what constitutes an "easy-going" job can be somewhat subjective and depend largely on an individual's interests and strengths, there are professions that are generally considered less stressful or demanding.

1. Graphic Designer: If you have a knack for visual arts and communication, you could consider a career in graphic design. This field lets you work on various projects like creating company logos, designing websites, creating marketing materials, etc. In addition, many graphic designers are self-employed, which provides a level of flexibility.

2. Library and Information Science: This field can lead to roles such as librarians, archivists, or museum curators. These jobs involve organizing information and helping people access it, usually in a quieter, more relaxed environment.

3. Human Resources: This encompasses areas like recruitment, training, or employee relations. It's a vital role within any organization and may not involve the high-stress environment of fields like finance or sales.

4. Education: Becoming a teacher or education administrator could be a fulfilling choice with relatively steady work hours, especially if you enjoy working with children and young adults.

5. Counseling and Psychology: If you have a passion for helping people deal with personal challenges, a job in counseling or psychology might be a good fit. You could counsel students, families or individuals to cope with various issues.

Remember, what's "easy" or "less stressful" can drastically vary from person to person. It's important to not only consider the ease of a job but also your personal interest and passion in the field. Even an "easy" job can become stressful and unenjoyable if you don't have interest in it. Try to look for the overlap between what you love, what you're good at, and what offers a suitable lifestyle.
