University of Houston Diversity?

Hello folks, right now I'm hunting for colleges, and something that's really important to me is diversity. I've been looking into the University of Houston a lot recently. Does anyone have a sense of what diversity is like there?

The University of Houston (UH) is known for its substantial diversity, and it consistently ranks highly among U.S. universities for ethnic diversity. The student body includes individuals from various ethnic, socioeconomic, geographic backgrounds, and more, which leads to a wide array of perspectives within the university community.

UH reports that over 33% of its students identify as Hispanic, making it a Hispanic-Serving Institution. There's also a significant representation of Asian, Black, and White students, as well as international students from more than 130 different countries.

Alongside racial and ethnic diversity, you'll also find diversity in terms of majors, interests, and student activities. From a wide range of clubs and organizations to sports and service opportunities, there's a place for everyone at UH.

However, like at any school, students' experiences with diversity can vary. Some students might find that the campus is very inclusive and representative, while others might feel differently based on their individual experiences or specific program. Be sure to engage with current students, alumni, and university resources to get the most comprehensive understanding of diversity at UH. Researching student demographics, visiting the campus (if possible), or participating in online events can give you a more accurate feel for the school's culture and atmosphere.
