Easiest degree at community college?

Hey everyone, I'm considering attending community college first before transferring to a 4-year school. I'd love to hear your views on the courses which are generally perceived to be 'easier' to get a degree in at a community college setting? Remembering, of course, that everyone's strengths are different.

While it's essential to realize the notion of "easiness" is subjective and depends largely on an individual's skills and interests, some degree programs at community colleges are generally considered less intense than others due to lesser course load, simpler content, or lower credit hours requirements.

For instance, many students find Associate's degrees in liberal arts or social sciences comparatively manageable. These degrees typically cover a broad spectrum of subjects like psychology, sociology, history, etc., without delving too deeply into specialized, complex areas.

Similarly, business degrees at community colleges often offer a good balance between employability and manageable workload. They provide transferable skills valuable in many occupations but usually don't involve highly technical or abstract coursework.

That being said, it's always beneficial to choose a degree based on your long-term career goals and personal interests rather than its perceived difficulty level. Selecting a program you are genuinely interested in can make hard work seem less daunting. And, as you noted, everyone's strengths are different, so what might be easy for one student could be challenging for another.

Also, keep in mind that many four-year institutions have specific prerequisites for transfer students in specific majors, so be sure to double-check these requirements before deciding on your course of study in community college. Whatever you choose, make sure that it aligns with your goals for after you transfer.
