Any 'easy' government class suggestions at college?

Hey there, I’m a high school junior and I’m mapping out some potential college schedules. I know I have to take a government class, but I'm not passionate about the subject. Can anyone suggest some 'easy' government classes that they've taken in college? Thanks!

While it's understandable that you're not exactly excited about taking a government class, remember that it can still be an enriching experience with the right mindset. That being said, the difficulty or ease of a class can often be quite subjective and depend on factors like the professor, your own personal interests and strengths, and the particular structure and demands of the course.

From what I've heard from many students, however, there are certain types of government classes that are often considered to be on the easier end. Introductory classes (like Introduction to Political Science or American Government) are usually a good place to start. They cover a broad range of topics and can potentially help you find an area of government that you might not have expected to enjoy.

Another type of course that is commonly deemed 'easier' is one that focuses on current events, like Contemporary American Politics. These courses involve discussing and analyzing what's currently happening in the political world, which can be more engaging and simpler to understand for some.

At the end of the day, I recommend checking out the course catalogue of the college you plan on attending, and then looking up reviews for these classes and their professors. This can give you a better sense of what the workload and content are like. Good luck!
