Advice for an easier math course in college?

Can anyone recommend an easier math course to take in college? Definitely not my area of strength and I'm looking for a course that won't completely overwhelm me.

Sure thing! If you're looking for a less challenging math course in college, I would recommend looking for 'Math for Liberal Arts' or 'Survey of Mathematics' classes. These types of courses often cover a broad range of mathematical topics but without going too in-depth into any one particular area.

This generally makes them less intimidating for students who feel less confident in their mathematical abilities, as they don't require a deep understanding of a single complex area of mathematics like calculus or discrete math would.

Another option to consider might be a 'Statistics' course. Basic statistics classes can be easier for some people because they focus more on real-world applications and can be less abstract than other math courses. Plus, statistical literacy is a useful skill to have in many fields.

Just remember that no course is universally "easy" or "hard"; it greatly depends on your own abilities, interests, and the way the course is taught. So, it might be a good idea to speak to a college academic adviser about your specific situation and course options. Also, try checking out course syllabi and reviews if possible to get a sense of the workload and content.
