Looking for Easy D1 Colleges to Get Into

I'm a junior in rather average shape academically, so universities with competitive admissions might be out of reach. I really want to study in a Division I sports college though. Could you guys suggest some D1 colleges that are relatively easy to get into?

Sure, there are quite a few Division I colleges that have relatively high acceptance rates and could well be within your reach. As with any college choice, be sure to consider factors such as academics, location, size, campus culture, and of course, the particular sports programs you are interested in!

- University of Akron: Based in Akron, Ohio, this university accepts more than 82% of applicants and has a highly respectable athletic program with D1 sports.

- University of Wyoming: Located in Laramie, Wyoming, the school also features strong athletic programs and holds an acceptance rate of around 96%.

- Pace University: With acceptance rates around 83%, this university located in the heart of New York City offers an active athletics program.

- University of North Dakota: The university, which is based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, accepts around 82% of applicants, and the Fighting Hawks participate in NCAA Division I sports.

Keep in mind that even though these universities may not require as high a GPA or test scores as more competitive institutions, you should still try to strengthen your application as much as possible. This can include improving in your academic areas, demonstrating strong interest and participation in extracurricular activities, and using your essays to showcase your passions and strengths!
