Cornell's easiest colleges to get admitted to?

OMG, Cornell is my dream school, but I know it's really competitive. Does anyone have the inside scoop on which of Cornell's colleges are easiest to get into? Any advice appreciated!

While it's true that Cornell is a highly competitive school, it's important to remember that the term "easiest" can be relative when it comes to admissions. Statistically, some colleges within Cornell tend to have higher acceptance rates, but this doesn't necessarily translate into them being broadly "easier" to get into.

For instance, Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) and College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) have traditionally had higher acceptance rates compared to some of the other colleges within the university. However, these schools also have specific focuses and cater to students interested in those particular areas, which means, for example, a student interested in CALS should ideally have a demonstrated interest in agriculture, life sciences, or related areas.

Keep in mind that admissions aren't just about numbers or rates - they're about fit. Each school within Cornell has its own unique mission, areas of focus, and values. Every college within Cornell, from the College of Engineering to the School of Hotel Administration, is looking for students who are not only academically prepared but also interested and engaged with the subject matter the school focuses on.

So, instead of looking at what's "easy," it's advisable to consider what best aligns with your interests, academic goals, and career aspirations. Remember, your passion for a particular field can often shine through in your application, creating a compelling case for why you deserve a place in that specific college. Good luck!
