Where's Duke Located?

Hey! I know this might sound dumb, but where exactly is Duke located? From what I understand it’s in North Carolina, but what city is it in?

That's not a dumb question at all, every question is an opportunity to learn. Duke University is indeed located in North Carolina. More precisely, it's in the city of Durham. It's centrally located within the state, and provides a nice blend of a suburban and urban environment. With a thriving arts scene, robust foodie culture, and plenty of outdoor activities nearby, Durham is known to be a vibrant city with a lot to offer. Plus, the presence of a couple of other major institutions, like the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University, positions it in what's frequently referred to as the "Research Triangle," known for its high concentration of major research institutions.
