In Need of Insight on Easiest College Degrees

Hey all, I feel a bit overwhelmed by the complexity of many college majors. I'm trying to find a major that won't send my stress levels through the roof, while still providing me with a decent career outlook. Could anyone suggest some 'easy' degrees?

While it's natural to feel overwhelmed when choosing a major, I would advise against picking a major just because it's seen as easy. Your course of study can really set the trajectory for your future, so it's important to choose something you're interested in and passionate about.

Remember, what might be 'easy' for one person could be incredibly challenging for another - it all depends on your interests, skills, and learning style. That being said, there are some degrees considered 'less intensive' than others.

1. Education: Education degrees can often involve lots of fieldwork and hands-on learning. This degree can lead to a fulfilling career in teaching at various levels. Although teaching might have its own set of challenges, the academic coursework is usually not as rigorous as some other majors.

2. Social Science: Degrees like sociology, psychology, or anthropology tend to have lower workload expectations than say engineering or pre-med tracks. Many find these areas of study interesting as they relate directly to human behaviors and societies.

3. Business Administration: This is another popular degree choice. The major gives a broad overview of various business functions, and it can be beneficial for many different careers.

4. Communications: Communications degrees often involve projects and essays rather than rigorous exams. This could be a good fit if you're more into applied, practical learning.

However, remember to consider your own skills, interests, and long-term goals. An 'easy' degree won't be worthwhile if it leads to a career you're not interested in. It's always a balance between finding something that you're passionate about and something that won't overstretch you. Consider meeting with a school counselor or academic advisor to discuss your interests and career goals to narrow down potential majors.
