Easiest Countries to Migrate Without a Degree

Being completely honest here, I'm not so sure college is my path. If I want to experience a different culture while working right after high school, what are the easiest places to migrate to from the US without a college degree?

Sure thing, and no worries about wanting to take a different journey – college isn't for everyone and it's great to explore alternative paths.

One of the easiest places to migrate to is Canada, as it's welcoming to expats and shares a border with the US. There's a lot of English speakers as well, which could make it easier for you to settle in and get a job. Their immigration system favors people who can contribute to the Canadian labor market, so having a skill or trade can be very beneficial.

Australia is another option. Through their "Working Holiday Visa" program, US citizens aged 18 to 30 can work in the country for up to a year. It's a way for young people to explore Australia while earning money through short-term employment.

New Zealand has a similar program to Australia's called the "Working Holiday Scheme," which allows young people to work and live there for up to 12 months.

Lastly, Costa Rica has a welcoming culture and attracting foreign workers, particularly in areas like ecotourism.

Remember, though, each of these countries will have their own regulations regarding residency permits and visas. It's important to research these aspects before deciding on a destination. You should also take into consideration factors like the cost of living, local culture, language barriers, and work opportunities in the sector you're interested in. Good luck on your adventure!
