Universally Accessible College: Which Ones Are They?

This might seem a weird question, but what college is generally considered the easiest to get into? I'm asking out of pure curiosity, since we often talk about the hardest ones to get into.

Interestingly, there are quite a number of universities and colleges that offer open admissions policies, meaning they accept every student who applies as long as they've completed high school or a GED program. A few examples of these schools include Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and the University of the People.

This approach typically comes from a commitment to making higher education accessible to as many people as possible. But keep in mind, while these schools may be academically accessible, the quality of education, environment, and student resources can significantly vary.

Additionally, community colleges nearly always have an open admissions policy. They offer 2-year associate degrees and certificates and are often stepping stones for students who aim to transfer to a 4-year university to complete a bachelor's degree.

However, please remember that even with open admissions, some programs within the colleges could be more competitive and may require additional criteria (such as nursing programs, which often require specific prerequisites or certain GPA thresholds).

So while there isn't a single answer to the "easiest" college to get into, these examples might give you an idea of the kinds of schools that prioritize accessibility.
