Any easy class suggestions at Portland State University?

Hello future peers, I plan on attending Portland State University next year. Do any of you have suggestions on some of the less demanding classes I could consider to keep my schedule balanced?

Hello, congrats on deciding to attend PSU next year! You'll find that most departments offer entry-level classes that are less demanding yet still interesting. It would really help to know what your interests are or what department you're thinking about, but here are a few general suggestions:

1. "PSY 200: Psychology as a Natural Science" – This class gives an overview of psychology in daily life and business, including basic principles of human interaction. It's typically not considered overly demanding.

2. "HST 203: History of the United States" – If you're interested in history, this class covers the highlights of the history of the US and is often well-received by students.

3. "MUS 203 – Music-Western World" – This fun class dives into the history of music in the western world and its cultural impact. No prior music knowledge required!

4. "ANTH 103: Introduction to Anthropology" – A look into the basics of human evolution, culture, language, and archaeological endeavors.

Remember to take a look at the course descriptions and prerequisites before making your final choices. You may also want to ask around more once you're on campus, as course experiences can change depending on the professor. Good luck with your first year at PSU!
