Georgetown Uni Students, What are Some Easy Classes?

Hi there! I'm going into my junior year of high school, and Georgetown University is a top choice for me. I’ve noticed some colleges offer 'easier' classes to help students boost their GPA. Any Georgetown students able to share their recommendations for some easy GPA boosters?

Hey, it's great that Georgetown University is on your shortlist! That school has a lot of challenging academic programs and is generally known for pushing its students, but like you said, there are a few "easier" courses that students often take to lighten their load or boost their GPA. Note that the ease or difficulty of a class can vary greatly depending on your strengths and interests. However, here are few courses that many Georgetown students have found to be less strenuous:

1. "Understanding Contemporary American Civilization" (AMST 002) - This course offers a broad overview of American culture and can be quite engaging and less demanding than some of the other options.

2. "Intro to Journalism" (JOUR 100) - If you have an interest in writing or communication, this could be a good option. It's a beginner level course and can also be quite interesting.

4. "Intro to Performing Arts" (PERF 110) - A course like this can be less stressful, especially if you like being creative or have an interest in the performing arts.

Remember, though, that what is "easy" can be very subjective and largely depends on your personal skills and interests. Also, keep in mind that many Georgetown professors are known for their engaging teaching style and take pride in challenging their students, so you'll still need to apply yourself and put in some effort even in these "easier" classes.
