Insight into 'easy' online classes at Lane Community College?

Friends, I was wondering if any high school seniors or recent grads on here have done some dual enrollment at Lane Community College and could give me the 411 on any notably easy online classes. Safety net options would be appreciated in case my course load gets a lil' too heavy next year.

While it's important to remember that what one person finds easy, another might find challenging due to differences in learning styles and strengths, there are several classes at Lane Community College that many students have reported are quite manageable even with a heavy course load, especially when taken online.

Browsing through some of the reviews and online discussion boards, Public Speaking tends to be listed as a more straightforward class. This might seem counterintuitive since public speaking usually involves live presentations, but in the online version, it seems that you often record yourself giving the speeches and then upload them for grading.

Another course that has been mentioned is Intro to Sociology. It covers quite a broad base of information, but many students have noted that the workload is very reasonable, and the topics are interesting and applicable to daily life.

A third option could be Introduction to Art or Music Appreciation. These are humanities electives where you learn about different art or music periods, styles, and influential figures. They tend to be quite engaging and manageable if you have an interest in the subject.

Keep in mind that the ease of a class often depends on the specific instructor, so once you have a list of potential courses, it could be beneficial to research the instructors who teach them to get a sense of their teaching style and grading policy. Good luck with your dual enrollment journey!
