Easiest Humanities Classes at the University of Arizona

Hey folks, I'm aiming for the University of Arizona and was wondering what the easiest Humanities classes there are? I appreciate classes that make us think on a deeper level but I don't want to burn myself out either.

When it comes to humanities classes, difficulty can be somewhat subjective and can depend on your personal interests and strengths. However, I have found that a number of students at the University of Arizona often report certain humanities classes to be both engaging and manageable.

1. HIST 160D2: If you're interested in history, "American History in the Movies" examines popular films about significant moments in American history and analyzes the accuracy of these media portrayals. This course can be enjoyable for students who appreciate film and history both.

2. ARH 201: "Art of the Western World I" is another course that tends to get positive feedback. In this course, you'll learn about the development of Western art and how it reflects different historical periods.

3. CLAS 220: "Classical Tradition I" is a very popular course as it covers interesting subjects like Greek and Roman origins and civilization. If your interests lie in classics, this could be a class you enjoy.

4. ENGL 280: "Introduction to Literature" tends to be popular with students regardless of their major. The class explores major literary forms such as fiction, poetry, and drama.

Lastly, always consider reaching out to upperclassmen or advisors in your department for more personal recommendations based on your course schedule and intended major. Remember, the “easiest” class can often be the one you're most interested in! The more engaged you are, the more likely you are to enjoy the material, participate, and perform well academically.
