Easiest UK Universities for Dentistry?

Anyone on here from the UK? I'm applying to study Dentistry but I've heard it can be quite competitive. Are there any universities that are known for being easier to get into for this course?

You're right in pointing out that Dentistry is a highly competitive field in the UK. However, I do want to caution against simply targeting programs that are "easy" to get into, since studying Dentistry is rigorous and demands depth of understanding and dedication that an easy program may not adequately prepare you for.

That said, there are universities that might be less competitive purely in terms of admissions statistics, though still offer highly regarded programs that will set you up for success. A few you might consider are:

1. University of Aberdeen: Their entry requirement is ABB at A-Level including biology and chemistry.

2. University of Central Lancashire: Their dental school accepts a wider array of qualifications including A-Levels, International Baccalaureate, and BTEC.

3. Plymouth University: They ask for AAA at A-Level, which is lower compared to some other universities.

I encourage you to look beyond just the entry requirements. Consider factors such as course content, opportunities for clinical practice, and success of their graduates. Good luck with your application!
