Looking for the easiest university degrees?

I'm thinking ahead to college and was wondering, what are generally considered the 'easiest' university degrees? I understand that a lot depends on personal strengths and interests, but any insight would be much appreciated.

Understanding that it most definitely depends on personal strengths and affinities, as you've already pointed out, there are few fields of study that some people might nonetheless find to have more manageable workloads or less intensive content than others.

1. Communications: This can be an engaging option as it often consists of practical portfolio projects, presentations, and group work rather than intensive exams or lengthy research studies.

2. Business Administration: While foundational courses in areas like economics, marketing, and accounting can be demanding, on the whole, many find this degree to be less time consuming because the curriculum often emphasizes traditional business practices and people-oriented skills.

3. Sociology: This degree revolves around understanding human behavior which can be considered less demanding for those who are naturally empathetic or have a strong interest in social sciences.

4. Education: If you enjoy learning about learning, then a degree in Education can be a good fit. Education students generally focus on child development, curriculum planning, and teaching methodologies which can be less rigorous compared to STEM-related subjects.

5. Liberal Arts: Degrees in fine arts or humanities could be considered lighter due to the emphasis on creativity and self-expression, although this is again subject to individual preferences and skills.

However, it's important to keep in mind that when choosing your field of study, interest and passion can significantly influence how 'easy' or 'difficult' you find the program. A subject that you're interested in can feel much more manageable, despite the workload, because you enjoy what you're learning. Remember that the value of a degree isn't solely its academic demand, but rather, its alignment with your career aspirations and personal growth.
