Precise Aim: Easiest University to Get into for Medicine?

I'm a junior with a passion for medicine and destined to make it my major. Could anyone suggest which universities might be easiest to gain admission into with a medicine focus?

Certainly, there are several universities relatively easier to gain admission into that also offers a pre-med track or biology major, which is typically followed by students who wish to pursue medical school. Here are a few:

1. University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC): Known for its 6-year BA/MD program, it offers students exposure to medicine right away. This is a direct medical program, which allows you to save two years because it combines undergraduate and medical school into six years, instead of the traditional eight.

2. Texas Tech University (TTU): TTU's Early Acceptance Program allows students to gain conditional acceptance into their medical school as they're starting college.

3. Florida International University (FIU): FIU has an Early Assurance Program with their medical school. The program is targeted to Bachelor's degree seeking FIU students, and students who complete the program are admitted to the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

It's important to note that while these universities may be easier to gain admission into than others, success in a pre-med track and getting into medical school remains a tough task that depends not only on grades but also on extracurriculars such as shadowing doctors, getting medical-related experience, and doing well on the MCAT. Moreover, remember that just because a college might not be highly selective for undergraduate admission doesn't mean their pre-med program will be easy. These programs are often rigorous to prepare you for medical school.

Lastly, when researching universities, also focus on those which feature good pre-med advising and opportunities for research or internships in the medical field. These features could greatly benefit your preparation for medical school.
