What's the best and easiest university to get into?

My college applications are stressing me out, big time. Do you guys know which universities are both great and relatively easy to get into?

When it comes to selecting a university that's both great and relatively easy to get into, it heavily depends on what you define as 'great'. There's certainly a range in competitiveness among universities, and while hard-to-get-into institutions like the Ivy Leagues often get the most attention, there are numerous schools that provide high-quality education and prominence in certain fields, and are less competitive in terms of admission.

Firstly, consider looking at public state universities. These often have great programs and are a bit less selective than their private counterparts. For example, if you're interested in business, the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business is highly ranked. For engineering, there's the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign which is well-known.

Similarly, Midwest colleges like the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln may be easier to gain admission to than the coastal universities.

In the West, Arizona State University has a high acceptance rate and is known for good engineering, journalism and business programs. And, Metropolitan State University of Denver and Portland State University, both urban institutions, offer strong programs in many areas.

Lastly, remember that what makes a university 'great' is often a very personal assessment. The right fit for you will depend on your academic interests, career goals, and personal preferences (for example, campus life, location, class size). So, the 'best and easiest' university may not be the 'best' for another student! It's essential to do your homework and find schools that align well with your individual goals and aspirations.
