Less Challenging Business Classes at the University of Florida

I'm a junior who's really interested in business. I'm looking at the University of Florida's program. Any advice on what the less challenging business classes might be there?

While all the business coursework at the University of Florida is designed to be rigorous and intellectually stimulating, some classes may be perceived slightly less demanding due to their topic area, which can play to some students' inherent skills or interests.

That said, remember that what one person considers easy may be challenging for another. Your personal strengths, interests, and background knowledge will significantly influence which classes seem less challenging to you.

Here are a few courses that some students have found less challenging compared to others:

1. MAN 3025: Principles of Management - This course covers basic management principles and practices, as well as makes a solid foundation for further management or marketing studies.

2. MAR 3023: Principles of Marketing - Considered by some to be an interesting course with a more concrete, less theoretical application of business principles.

3. GEB 3373: International Business - Despite being a broad topic that covers business on a global scale, some students find it an easier class because it provides more cultural and historical background, as opposed to technical business strategies.

Always review the course syllabus, which describes the topics to be covered, evaluation methods, and workload expectations. This information can provide a solid idea of how challenging a course might be.

But remember that all business classes will likely demand a fair amount of reading, case studies, and group projects. Your experience in these classes will greatly depend on your level of engagement and how well you manage your time. And while it's understandable to seek less challenging classes, make sure you're still pushing yourself to grow and gain the skills and knowledge that will help you in your future business career.
