University of Southern Maine: Easiest classes?

I have my sights set on the University of Southern Maine. Any students there have ideas for some of the easier classes I could take during my first year to help maintain my GPA?

When it comes to choosing "easy" classes, it's important to remember that every student's strengths are different. What comes naturally to one student might be challenging for another. However, keeping that in mind, there are often some classes that people generally find less demanding.

Introduction to Sociology (SOC 100) is often recommended for first-year students, as it provides an interesting overview of the subject without diving too deep into complex theories.

Additionally, you might want to consider a Creative Writing class (ENG 201). It's a fun way to earn credits, especially if you enjoy expressing yourself through words.

Remember that these are just suggestions based on general opinion, and your mileage may vary depending on your study habits, interests, and academic strengths. Also, while it's useful to have some lighter courses in your schedule, make sure you're also taking the necessary classes for your major and overall degree requirements. Always consult with an academic advisor before making final course decisions.
