Seeking Recommendations for Easy Courses at Kennesaw State University

G'day! Next academic year, I'll be a junior and Kennesaw State University is at the top of my college list. I’m thinking about potentially taking a few straightforward classes to help with my GPA. Do you, Kennesaw students or alums, have any course recommendations that could help me out?

While it's always wise to focus on maximizing your GPA, I would also encourage you to think about how the courses you choose align with your academic and career objectives. That said, from the experience of students I've interacted with, there are a few courses at Kennesaw State University that have been highlighted as being less intensive while still offering value:

1. PSYC 1101 (Introduction to General Psychology): This course offers an overall view of the many aspects of psychology and tends to be more user-friendly. If you enjoy understanding human behavior, it could be an intriguing yet manageable course.

2. IS 2200 (Information Systems and Communication): This course covers basic concepts of information systems and computer proficiency. Students usually find it to a practical and straightforward class.

3. ARH 1107 (Art in Society): This is an overview of visual arts in the Western world from the Renaissance to the current day. If you have an interest in art or history, this course could be quite engaging.

4. ANTH 1102 (Introduction to Anthropology): This course is a general introduction to the facets of anthropology, and students commonly find it easier to grasp.

5. PHIL 2200 (Ways of Knowing): Dealing with moral and philosophical dilemmas, this course encourages thinking and reflection, and is generally enjoyed by students.

Before enrolling, review the course syllabus, consider the teaching style of the instructor (Rate My Professor can be a helpful resource), and think about how these classes would fit into your overall academic plan. Remember that what seems easy or engaging to one student might not be the same for another, so take this advice with a grain of salt, and make sure to do your own research as well. Best of luck with your junior year!
