Easiest Thematic Sequence at Miami University?

Hello all, has anyone taken a 'thematic sequence' at Miami University that they found manageable and maybe even enjoyable? I'm trying to get a sense of what kind of load to expect if I get accepted there. Any tips or suggestions are much appreciated!

While it's difficult to generalize and say which thematic sequence is easiest at Miami University, your choice should really depend on your interests rather than its perceived difficulty. Generally speaking, the more you're interested in a topic, the more manageable and easier it would be to navigate.

For example, if you're into history, the "World of the Romans" thematic sequence in the classics department is often touted as being quite approachable and stimulating. For science-oriented students, the "Concepts of Health and Disease" offered by the biology department can be quite fascinating.

Do note, however, every student’s experience can vary. Courses that some find easy can be challenging for others and vice versa. It's important to align your sequence with either a) the major/minor you are planning to pursue; b) a passion or interest outside of your main area of study; or c) a topic you've always been curious about.

Courses you personally find engaging or meaningful are much more likely to feel easier than courses you take simply because they're required. It's worth speaking to an academic advisor at Miami University if you are accepted and have the chance to discuss your options further. They can provide you with comprehensive guidance based on your academic objectives and interests.
