Universities with the easiest Chemistry degree courses?

A quick ask for help here since I'm planning to major in Chemistry. I'm aware it's not generally simple but, are there any universities where the course load is known to be more manageable for this particular major?

It's commendable that you're planning to major in Chemistry, which is indeed a challenging field. However, evaluating how 'easy' or 'hard' a program can be is subjective and depends a lot on an individual student's passion, dedication, and academic stamina for the subject matter.

Bear in mind that the rigor of a program might also be an indication of its quality. Much of the knowledge and skills in chemistry, especially when venturing into specialized areas or advanced studies, could be diluted in programs with a less rigorous curriculum. Hence, if you're looking to acquire significant skills and knowledge in chemistry or are thinking of potential research or post-graduate studies, a program with an 'easier' label might not be suitable.

That being said, some universities could be more supportive for Chemistry majors. They might provide collaborative learning environments or have accessible professors and teaching assistants who can provide extra help to students who are finding the coursework challenging. For example, there could be more office hours, additional tutoring support, smaller class sizes, or more practical, hands-on laboratory experiences that can enhance understanding.

Finally, it's worth noting that a university's generosity with credits for AP Chemistry can make a chemistry major less demanding by fulfilling some prerequisites or by counting towards degree completion.

In conclusion, instead of searching for an 'easy' course, I would recommend looking for universities with strong, yet supportive chemistry programs. You might find researching student testimonials, class sizes, faculty accessibility, and overall support mechanisms within targeted universities' chemistry departments helpful.
