How difficult is it to get into a Division 1 College for Football?

Guys, I'm deeply into football and hoping to continue playing in college (Division 1 preferably). But I know it's super competitive. So, in your experience or from what you've heard, which D1 colleges tend to be 'easier' or more achievable to get into for Football?

Getting recruited for Division 1 football requires a combination of exceptional athletic ability, the right physical measurements, academic prowess, and exposure to college coaches. Colleges prioritize their recruitment based on their needs for particular positions and classes (like seniors, juniors, etc.) every year.

Realistically, achieving Division 1 status is quite challenging because it's the highest level of intercollegiate athletics sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. However, the difficulty can vary considerably between colleges owing to their specific academic and athletic standards.

For instance, Ivy League institutions like Harvard, Brown, or Yale are Division 1 schools and have excellent football programs, but they are highly selective and require extraordinary academic achievements.
