Any suggestions for the easiest good universities to apply to?

I'm a junior and have started my college search. I'm looking for schools that are considered 'good' but are relatively easier to get into. As for location, I'm open to all over the U.S. Thanks for any advice!

It's great to see that you've started your college search early. While what constitutes a "good" university can be subjective and depend on the student's specific interests and needs, there are plenty of universities across the U.S. that are known for providing a solid education and are a bit easier to get into, relative to the very selective universities.

1. Trinity University in Texas: This university is often praised for its rigorous academics, small class sizes, and strong sense of community. It offers a wide range of programs, and the overall acceptance rate hovers around 28%.

2. St. Olaf College in Minnesota: Known for its strong programs in the sciences and humanities, along with its emphasis on global learning. The school's acceptance rate is around 52%.

3. University of Iowa: One of the nation's top public research institutions known particularly for its strong programs in writing and healthcare. The acceptance rate is quite high, roughly 85%.

4. University of Colorado at Boulder: Well-known for its stellar programs in engineering and environmental science, and it boasts a 80% acceptance rate.

5. Loyola Marymount University in California: Offers strong programs in business and film production. The acceptance rate is approximately 40%.

6. University of Mary Washington in Virginia: This public liberal arts college is known for small class sizes and strong programs in the social sciences and humanities. The acceptance rate is around 86%.

7. University at Buffalo, SUNY: It's the largest and most comprehensive campus in the SUNY system. Known for strong business and science programs, and has a 69% acceptance rate.

Remember, it's important to consider more than just acceptance rates. Look at each university's location, size, available majors, campus culture, financial aid, job placement rates, and other factors that matter to you. Also, these are rough acceptance rates and may vary slightly based on advancements in university's criteria and hierarchies. Happy college hunting!
