Natural Science Class Recommendations?

I'm trying to balance out my schedule for next semester and need a natural science class. Any recommendations for the easiest natural science classes you've taken in college that I could potentially look into at my school? I’m not too strong in science so hoping for something manageable!

It really depends on the specifics of your college, as the course offerings and professors can vary greatly. However, there are a few natural science classes commonly considered to be on the lighter side across different institutions.

1. Introduction to Astronomy: This class often only requires basic math and provides a broad overview of the science behind the universe we, as humans, occupy. You'll learn about stars, planets, galaxies, and more. I've heard many students say that they found it both interesting and manageable.

2. Environmental Science: This is another often recommended course. It combines elements of biology, Earth science, and even social science. You’ll learn about diverse topics like ecosystems, conservation, climate change, and human impact on the environment.

3. Geology: This is often considered one of the easier science classes at many colleges. It covers things like rock forms, geological processes, and the history of the Earth.

4. Human Biology or Anatomy: If you are more interested in the human body, you might consider a class in human biology or anatomy. These classes often involve memorization rather than complex problem solving, which some find easier.

Make sure to do some research on your own college's course guide and professor reviews to ensure you pick a course that suits your specific needs and strengths. And remember, even a class that is considered "easy" still requires commitment and effort to do well.
