Easiest online math courses to take in College?

Hey, does anyone know some good online math courses that are easy to handle while I'm in College? I get a bit anxious with math and want to make sure I can manage it along with the rest of my courses. Appreciate any help!

When you're looking for online math courses that are manageable in a college environment, there are a few that often come up as "go-to" options. Remember, though, what is considered easy can vary greatly from one person to another, depending on your mathematical background and how hard you're willing to work.

One of the first courses that come to mind is Introductory Statistics. Unlike many other math courses, statistics is often less about crunching numbers and more about interpreting data, which some students find more intuitive. It also tends to have real-world applications which make it more engaging and easier to understand.

Another course that students often find approachable is College Algebra. This is typically an introductory course covering various algebraic concepts that you likely already have some familiarity with from high school, like functions, logarithms, and systems of equations. Nevertheless, it's still a solid math course that can serve as a prerequisite for other courses.

There's even a course out there called "Math for Liberal Arts Majors" or "Math in Society", offered by some institutions, that covers a wide range of math topics but in a less rigorous, more conceptual manner. Topics might include voting theory, finance math, probability, or number systems. This course is specifically designed for students who want to fulfill their math requirement but may not be pursuing a technically intensive major.

I cannot emphasize enough that having a competent instructor (even in an online setting) can make a world of difference in your ability to comprehend and succeed in the course. So, before enrolling in a course, look up the professor's ratings or seek advice from upperclassmen who have taken the same course.

Finally, don't shy away from seeking help if you need it. Utilize office hours, study groups, and tutoring resources - they're there to assist you. Good luck with your math course!
