Any less competitive Florida colleges for Managerial and Financial Accounting?

Hello peeps, I'm a high school junior from Florida. I wanna pursue a degree in Managerial and Financial Accounting. But, I'm kinda nervous about the selection process of the top colleges. Does anyone know any public colleges in Florida that have good programs but are slightly easier to get into?

Sure, I'm happy to offer a few suggestions. In Florida, besides the well-known flagship universities like the University of Florida and Florida State University, there are quite a few public institutions with robust business and accounting programs that might be slightly less competitive.

1. University of South Florida (USF): USF's Muma College of Business has highly-regarded programs in accounting. Although the overall acceptance rate for USF is a bit higher compared to UF or FSU, admission is still competitive, and the university offers a strong support system for its students.

2. Florida International University (FIU): FIU's College of Business also offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. It's a large urban public university and can be a good fit if you're aiming for less competition but still want comprehensive academic offerings.

3. University of North Florida (UNF): The Coggin College of Business at UNF offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. This might be an excellent choice if you prefer a smaller public university.

Remember, while your concerns about competitiveness are valid, it's also important to choose a college that matches your individual needs and aspirations. Check the course curriculum, faculty, resources offered to students, and possible internships or co-ops in the area. Good luck!
